How is HIV/AIDS contracted? What is the treatment? How can I prevent it?  

These are very important questions. Please go to avert.org to get answers to these questions and more. Educating yourself about HIV/AIDS is the best defense against the disease.
 

How do I become a volunteer for AIDS Interfaith Network?
To become a volunteer with AIDS Interfaith Network, please contact Mary Marshall at 214-943-4444. Volunteers must go through an interview and training process to volunteer at the agency. Please refer to our volunteer section for more information about volunteer opportunities.
 

How much do AIN services cost?
The services offered at AIN are free to qualified clients.
 

How is AIDS Interfaith Network funded?
AIN is funded through government and foundation grants, corporate and individual giving, employee matching programs, and events either produced by AIN or as a beneficiary of events from other community organizations.
 

Can I make a donation in honor or memory of someone?
Yes, you can make an online donation, mail in your donation stating the honoree or in memoriam of desired individual, or call the development director at 214.943.4444.
 

How do I become a client of AIN?
If you are HIV positive and are in need of services:

  1. Call AIN at 214.941.7696
  2. AIN will help you access an intake and case management provider
  3. Be prepared to provide the following information:
    • A letter of diagnosis.
    • Photo Identification (any of these, for example: photo ID, TX drivers license, etc.).
    • Social Security Card.
    • Proof of income for the current year (any of these, for example: check stub, award letter from SSDI, copy of paycheck, etc.).
    • Proof of residency (any of these, for example: copy of lease agreement, utility bill with name and address, correct drivers license, bank deposit slip, etc.).
Our services are offered at no charge to the client. You can come to our AIN office or we can come to your home, depending on the circumstances.

AIN also serves the family member, partner, or caregiver of someone living with HIV/AIDS.
